QrenzaScan: QR Code Scanner ("QrenzaScan", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the QrenzaScan mobile application.
1. Summary
QrenzaScan is designed to scan and create QR codes on your device. The app does not require an account, and we do not operate a server that receives, stores, or sells your scanned QR codes or generated QR code content.
2. Information You Provide or Create in the App
The app may process the following information locally on your device so that its features work:
- Scanned QR and barcode content: The text or URL contained in a code you scan.
- Scan history: Scanned code content may be saved locally so you can view it later.
- Custom QR codes: Names, QR code data, colors, creation dates, and optional embedded image paths for QR codes you create.
- Images you choose: If you select an image to embed in a QR code, the app may copy that image into the app's local storage on your device.
- Settings: Preferences such as whether scanned URLs should open automatically.
- Subscription status: A local flag indicating whether premium access is active.
This information is stored on your device using local app storage. We do not receive this information unless you choose to share it with us outside the app, such as by email.
3. Permissions
QrenzaScan may request access to device features only when needed:
- Camera: Used to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera frames are processed for scanning and are not sent to us.
- Photo Library: Used when you choose an image to embed in a QR code or save a generated QR code image to your photo library.
- Internet and external links: Used when you open a scanned web link, view legal pages, or complete App Store subscription flows.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
QrenzaScan offers an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We do not collect or store your payment card number, Apple ID password, or billing details.
The app may receive purchase status, product identifier, receipt, transaction, or verification information from Apple through StoreKit or the in-app purchase framework so premium access can be enabled or restored. Apple handles payment processing under Apple's privacy and payment terms.
5. Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We do not include advertising or analytics SDKs in the app based on the current app build.
Information may leave your device only when you choose an action that involves another service, for example:
- Opening a scanned URL in a browser or another app.
- Sharing QR code content or QR images through the system share sheet.
- Saving generated QR code images to your photo library.
- Contacting support by email.
- Completing or restoring a subscription through Apple.
Those third-party apps, websites, and services handle information according to their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Scan history, custom QR codes, selected embedded images copied into app storage, settings, and subscription status are retained locally on your device unless you delete them, clear the relevant history, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app generally removes its local app data from the device, subject to your operating system and backup settings.
7. Children's Privacy
QrenzaScan is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
8. Security
We use platform-provided local storage and permission systems to support the app's features. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Users
The app is available in multiple regions. If you contact us, your message may be processed in the country where we or our email provider operate.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
